Face Lift

Facelift is a procedure designed to correct signs of aging in the lower two-thirds of the face. Dr.Yune use the latest facelift techniques to ensure natural looking results.In the past, facelift only addressed the skin, often resulting in an unnatural, “overly pulled” appearance and a quick return of the wrinkles the surgery was meant to eliminate. However, since that time, surgeons have recognized that aging is not limited to the skin’s surface. Muscles and connective tissue (fascia) also stretch as we grow older, and the collagen that supports smooth skin below the surface shrinks, causing wrinkles, deeper smile lines, and thinner lips. Furthermore, osteoporosis often causes facial bones to shrink, especially the jawbone.

When performing a facelift, our surgeons place inconspicuous incisions around the ear and above the hairline. Excess tissue is removed and all layers of the face are tightened to produce a smoother, more youthful cheek, jaw, and neck contour. Care is always taken to create a natural, rested appearance without any evidence of surgery. In some cases, other treatments are used to enhance facelift results. These may include lip augmentation, chin and cheek augmentation, eyelid surgery, brow lift, BOTOX® Cosmetic injections and injectable fillers.
